This amazing discovery can save million of lives!

It is a continuous battle around the globe to win the battle over cancer.  Thousands of studies were conducted around the world to find a way to completely cure the big “C”. Chemotherapy is a very well known procedure or treatment for cancer but completing multiple sessions to completely get rid of the affected cells can be very expensive and added to that, the treatment can destroy even the healthy cells. This results to falling of hair, nausea and vomiting and many more.

Aiming to find a natural way to treat this dreadful disease, a group researchers from Ontario’s University of Windsor has successfully found this plant as a very effective anti-cancer alternative. Learn about this and more by scrolling below.

Scientists have discovered that dandelion root is a better option than chemotherapy because it kills the cells infected with cancer and has no side effects.

The dandelion greens contain Vitamin B6, C, iron, riboflavin, folate, potassium, manganese and magnesium. They may contribute up to 535 per cent of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin K and over 110 per cent of the suggested daily intake of Vitamin A. Although dandelion root is known to act as a diuretic and stimulate the secretion of bile, cleanse the liver, reduce cholesterol and help with allergies, research shows cancer cells are completely destroyed when they interact with dandelion root extract.

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ontario’s University of Windsor showed that dandelion root extract can induce apoptosis [the process of programmed cell death] in human melanoma cells without causing any side effects. In the initial study, the chemical reaction produced by the dandelion extract forced cancer cells to begin disintegrating within the first 48 hours of treatment. Healthy cells were not affected, the team noted.

Researchers concluded that continuous treatments with low-dose dandelion root extracts effectively ousted most cancerous cells. The team received an additional CA$157,000 grant for a total of CA$217,000 to study exactly how efficient dandelion root extract is in destroying cancer cells. The initial findings were enough to convince Seeds4Hope to give the team CA$60,000 to continue the research.

University of Windsor biochemistry researcher Siyaram Pandey told CBC News that he was sceptical when local oncologist Dr Caroline Hamm first approached him. Dr Hamm was curious about cancer patients who seemed to be getting better after drinking dandelion tea and was convinced that the plant contains an active ingredient. However, she warned that “it can hurt as well as benefit.” Dr Hamm told CBC News four years ago that dandelion extract tea could tamper with regular chemotherapy, and urged cancer patients not to mix it with other cancer drugs without speaking to a doctor first.

Pandey found one journal article indicating dandelions may have cancer-killing properties. With the help of his team of graduate students, the biochemistry researcher developed a formula they could experiment with and tested it on a number of lines of commercially-available leukaemia cells. They found that the formula caused cancer cells to kill themselves, a process known as apoptosis.

It appears that the dandelion extract helped a man recover from cancer. John DiCarlo was admitted to hospital in 2009 with leukaemia, but was sent home to put his affairs in order with his family after aggressive treatment failed to cure his illness. The cancer clinic suggested he try dandelion tea and, four months later, his cancer was in remission. Mr DiCarlo told CBC News his doctor credits the herb.

Homemade Dandelion Root Tea

Here’s what you’ll need

– One fresh batch of organic dandelion

– Water

Do not use dandelion roots from public spaces or unknown sources. If you do, you might be inadvertently drinking in all the pesticides used on it. I recommend either planting it yourself or talking to your local supplier.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Chop the dandelion root, then place it in a saucepan of boiling water. Let it sit for a bit more than a minute. Remove the saucepan from the stove, cover it, and let simmer down for about forty minutes.
